Introduction to the Records Management Program

The YSU Records Management Program is designed to help staff, faculty and administrators:

  • Evaluate whether to retain, destroy or archive university records using the YSU Records Retention Schedule and related forms.

  • Manage YSU records in a way that insures compliance with relevant state and federal laws.

  • Organize records in an efficient way, reducing their volume in university offices.
